Ideal Carehomes were thrilled to win two prestigious awards last month from care recommendation website, carehome.co.uk. As a company, we have been recognised as a Top 20 Recommended Mid-size Care Home Group in the UK and Larkhill Hall has been named as a Top 20 Recommended Care Home in the North West, out of a total of 2,002 homes in the region. The carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards 2016 highlight the most recommended care homes in each region of the UK and also the most recommended care home groups. The awards are based on over 55,000 reviews and recommendations received from residents and families and friends of residents between February 2014 and February 2016.
Davina Ludlow, Director of carehome.co.uk, said 'We feel the best people to rate a care home are the residents and their families and friends. Larkhill Hall has proved that it provides excellent care and we'd like to congratulate it on being a top recommended care home in North West England! It's a wonderful achievement to be recognised for being a highly recommended home by the very people you care for. Looking for the right care home can be tough. We hope our awards will help to make people's search that little bit easier.'
Review cards are filled in by current residents, or their family and friends and there is a very strict validation process for each review. Larkhill Hall currently has a score of 9.9 out of 10 on the website from 42 reviews. One review submitted by the niece of a resident at Larkhill Hall says 'I just want everyone to know that Larkhill Hall is the most amazingly run care home. Every member of staff cares'.
Paul Fletcher, Regional Director for Ideal Carehomes, said:
'We are extremely proud to win not one, but two, Top 20 Awards from carehome.co.uk this year. The reviews posted for Larkhill Hall are fantastic and prove that it is a great place to live for our residents, and a testament to all the hard work of the staff. We value all feedback about our homes and feel that carehome.co.uk is a very useful tool for prospective residents and their families.'
