Dewsbury care home, Ashworth Grange, will be throwing open its doors every Monday to welcome members of the community to its ‘Cuppa Club’. Taking place on Mondays from 2pm until 4pm, the home’s residents will be welcoming other like-minded people living in the area to come along, enjoy tea and refreshments and take part in a fun activity.
Colette Senior, the home’s lifestyle manager, said: “Ashworth Grange is a place for all the community and our residents love nothing more than making new friends. Our first ‘Cuppa Club’ last month, where we enjoyed designing Easter bonnets and eating home-baked cakes, was a huge success which is why we’ve decided to make it a regular event.
“We want anyone living locally, who may wish to mix with some new faces, to come along, relax and perhaps try their hand at a different and exciting hobby.”
Ashworth Grange, which is part of the Ideal Carehomes family, is proud to be rated as ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
It offers 24-hour residential and dementia care in a modern and luxurious setting for 64 people. It boasts a café, library, hair salon, spacious lounges and landscaped gardens.
