Rivendell View Care Home, situated on Magenta Way in Stoke Bardolph, has hosted its official open day and received a very warm welcome from local artists who generously donated paintings and other works of art to display around the home.
A local artist attended the open day bearing a touching housewarming gift of a portrait of the local woodlands which he presented to Home Manager, Samantha Kavanagh.
Samantha said, ‘The response from the local community has been overwhelming, I am very grateful to the community for their many ‘home warming’ gifts – they are all taking pride of place in our home for our future residents to see and appreciate’.
