Residents from Littleton Lodge care home in Cannock took a trip to Orbital Retail Park recently to perform a few random acts of kindness for members of their community.
The Littleton Lodge residents set out to show their appreciation with fresh roses and chocolates in hand to give out to members of the public.
87-year-old resident, Margaret Moore, said, ‘It’s made my day to hear that we’ve been able to make someone else’s day, even by doing something so small, but kind. I can’t wait to do this again.’
Residents from Littleton Lodge are also inviting over 65’s in their community to their monthly ‘Come Dine with Me’ event. On the first Wednesday of each month at 13:00, all over 65’s are welcome to join the residents at Littleton Lodge for a delicious, homecooked meal and a chat.
