Over the course of the pandemic, the media has really shone a light on how amazing care workers are and it is wonderful to see them get the recognition they deserve.

We have unique training and development initiatives through our Ideal Academy, including industry-leading training, career progression opportunities via a range of learning resources such as E-learning and specialist workshops – there are always opportunities to progress for the right people’.

Sarah knows that supporting the Ideal Carehomes staff team is the first priority and has recently introduced a ‘Wellbeing Pathway’ to the Ideal Academy. The pathway consists of a 24 hour counselling support line, face to face stress management training, regular mindfulness techniques and advice on nutrition, exercise and ways to reduce stress and improve overall health and wellbeing.

The company also recognises and celebrates their staff team each year with a glitzy awards gala evening, which sees thousands of nominations from colleagues, residents and their families and friends for carers and ancillary staff who have consistently gone the extra mile to make a difference to the lives of others.

Managing Director, Stacey Linn, said: ‘We are very excited to be opening our first luxury care home in Kidderminster and are keen to hear from people living in the local community who are seeking fulfilling careers within social care.
