Woodthorpe Lodge care home residents prepare for week of fun
Woodthorpe Lodge care home, located on John Boden Way in Loughborough, are getting ready to host their first Open Week on Monday 8th August.
During Open Week, staff and residents at Woodthorpe Lodge will invite family, friends and the local community into their home to enjoy a variety of activities. Visitors will also be able to tour the home, speak to the staff and meet the residents.
Planned by the residents living in the care home, the itinerary for Open Week is as follows:
Monday 8th August, 10:30 – 12:00
Arts and Crafts Morning
Tuesday 9th August, 11:00 – 12:00
Coffee Morning
Wednesday 10th August, 13:30 – 15:00
Quiz Afternoon
Thursday 11th August, 13:30 – 15:00
Afternoon Tea and Bingo
Friday 12th August – 11:00 – 12:00
Move it Mobility
Friday 12th August, 14:00 – 15:00
Petting Zoo
Saturday 13th August, 13:30 – 15:00
Cocktail Tasting Afternoon
The Home Manager, Charleen Trueblood, commented,
