Brand New Shrewsbury Care Home Welcomes Community for Open Day

Brand-new luxury care home in Shrewsbury, Lime Trees on Oteley Road, invited their community to tour their state-of-the-art facilities recently at their Open Day.

During the Open Day, guests were greeted by the Home Manager, Karen Williams, and the Mayor of Shrewsbury, Elisabeth Roberts, who officially opened the event in a ribbon cutting ceremony. They were joined by football players, George Nurse and Elliott Bennett from Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

Local musician, Danny Jones, provided entertainment throughout the day, performing everyone’s favourite tunes.

The care home’s kitchen team impressed attendees with a buffet of home-made canapes and glasses of fizz before Karen showed everyone the home’s facilities and introduced the Lime Trees team. Karen said,

‘It was a pleasure to meet our new neighbours in Shrewsbury and tell them all about the Lime Trees lifestyle that we’ll be able to offer. We’d like to thank the Mayor and Shrewsbury Football Club for coming along to support our home – we hope to see you again soon!’
