Brand-new luxury care home, Kings Court, is recruiting for up to 65 team members ahead of its eagerly awaited launch later this year.
Kings Court is named in tribute to King Charles I’s Newark ‘northern fortress’, and to honour King Charles III’s coronation later in the year.
Kings Court is recruiting for various positions including care management, care assistants and kitchen, domestic and admin staff.
The new team will complete a thorough induction period before the home opens when they will provide first-rate residential and dementia care to up to 66 residents.
Kings Court, located on new housing estate, Millers Croft in Newark (off Flaxley Lane), will be provider Ideal Carehomes 35th home, and is an EPC ‘A’ rated home. Through use of solar panels and ground source heat pump technology, the home can be operated as a Carbon Free Green home running without the use of gas.
The home boasts a lavish cinema, an airy botanical room leading onto landscaped gardens, and a beauty parlour.
The caring team will be focused on creating a welcoming and fulfilling lifestyle for the people who live at Kings Court, offering round-the-clock support, regular and varied activities, healthy and nutritious food and laundry and housekeeping service.
Sarah Colling, Head of Development and Engagement and regional finalist for the Great British Care Awards within the ‘Workforce Development’ category, said,
‘This is a great time to join the Ideal Carehomes family. We have unique training and development initiatives through our Ideal Academy, including industry-leading training, career progression opportunities via a range of learning resources such as E-learning and specialist workshops.
‘Ideal Academy was founded with the idea that anyone can have a career in care. Somebody could start with us having no experience, on a starting salary of £22,000 per annum with paid breaks and can very quickly be fully trained to have a career with us through our internal management course, Ideal Futures.’
The company also recognises and celebrates their staff each year with a glitzy awards gala evening, which sees thousands of nominations from colleagues, residents and their families and friends for carers and ancillary staff who have consistently gone the extra mile to make a difference to the lives of others.
Managing Director, Stacey Linn, said:
‘We are very excited to be opening our first luxury care home in Newark and are keen to hear from people living in the local community who are seeking fulfilling careers within social care.
‘Whilst our environments are second to none, it is our staff team who make our homes the best places to live, and who help our residents to retain their independence whilst supporting them to live an active lifestyle.
‘We are looking for people who really want to make a difference and would like to be part of the Kings Court story right from the very start’.
