Millcroft care home in Redditch has received a rating of ten out of ten on care home review website, carehome.co.uk.
Carehome.co.uk is the UK’s leading care home directory and care home search site. It compares over 17,500 care homes using a scoring system based on public ratings.
Carehome.co.uk gives its reviewers the opportunity to rate the care home in 13 different categories, including staff, safety, food and drink, facilities and cleanliness, as well as write about their experiences.
The staff at Millcroft, which opened in December 2022, were bursting with pride when they found that the home had received the highest score available based on reviews from residents, and their families and friends.
One resident’s daughter said in a review, ‘Already her walking has improved, she is able to communicate much more effectively, and she has joined in with lots of activities. She seems to be eating well with freshly made, tasty food.
‘She has a huge smile on her face most of the time. There is a lovely lounge/dining area, always things going on, cheerful, helpful, caring staff. Mum is only in her room to sleep, no time for afternoon naps!’
A resident at Millcroft added, ‘The home is lovely. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you, they really care for you and every need you have. The food is great, my bed is so comfy, it’s all just lovely jubbly!’
