Sandbach Community Invited to Spectacularly Spooky Halloween Party with Care Home Residents!

Staff and residents from Elworth Grange care home in Sandbach are inviting their community to a spectacularly spooky Halloween celebration on Sunday 30th October.

At 12:00pm, Elworth Grange will open its cinema room to the public for a family friendly showing of Hotel Transylvania, complete with a tasty bag of popcorn from the home’s own popcorn machine and lots of other treats.

After the film showing, Elworth Grange will host a hauntingly fun Halloween party.

The Halloween party will kick off with a devilish disco, followed by some traditional party games. The home’s residents will be judging a ‘best costume’ competition, so fancy dress is mandatory!

89-year-old resident, Eliza Walker, said she’s excited to get the party started, saying ‘I’m most looking forward to judging the fancy dress costumes that the children will be wearing for the party!’

The Elworth Grange residents will be decorating their bedroom doors in their own ‘best-dressed door’ competition.

Sarah Rodger, the Registered Manager at Elworth Grange, said ‘Our staff and residents have all been getting in the Halloween spirit this month, and we can’t wait to see our friends and neighbours all dressed up for our costume competition!’

The Halloween film showing and party will take place at Elworth Grange care home, James Brindley Drive (off Booth Lane), Sandbach, CW11 3TQ.

You can follow Elworth Grange on Facebook for more updates, news and events.
