Residents from Millcroft care home in Redditch are gearing up for their first ever Motorfest on Saturday 16th September from 10:00 until 15:00.
A family fun day for all with an exhibit of classic cars and marvellous motorbikes, guests will also be able to enjoy live music, children’s entertainment, an outdoor cinema, Scalextric and Wheel2Wheel sim racing and much more.
Lyndsay Sard, the Home Manager at Millcroft, said, ‘We have a lot of car enthusiasts here at Millcroft who can’t wait to kick things into gear at Motorfest.
‘Everyone is welcome to come along – whether you’re a lover of all things auto or you’re just looking for an exciting day out, Motorfest is for you!’
Delicious refreshments and treats will be available throughout the day, including food vans from local businesses and candy floss machines.
95-year-old resident, Brian Foster, said, ‘I’m really looking forward to Motorfest! It takes me back to the good old days with the old cars revving their engines, and who can forget candy floss.’
