Stockport Care Home Offers Free Packed Lunches for Half Term

Brinnington Hall care home in Stockport are offering a helping hand to local families during the Easter half term by handing out nutritious packed lunches for children, free of charge.

From 11:00-15:00 on Monday 3rd April to Friday 14th April, staff and residents at Brinnington Hall will pack sandwiches, snacks and drinks ready for children in the community to enjoy.

The Home Manager at Brinnington Hall, Karen Harrison, hopes that the care home’s packed lunches will help those struggling with the rising cost of living during the holidays. She said,

‘School holidays can be a tough time for parents. Finding activities to keep the kids occupied can become a big expense, so we hope that our packed lunches will provide some support and reassurance for families who want to make the most of their time together this Easter.’

Packed lunches can be collected on a first come first served basis from Brinnington Hall care home, Middlesex Road, Stockport, Manchester, SK5 8HT.
