Stoke Bardolph Care Home Kicks Off Sponsorship for Local Football Team
Stoke Bardolph care home, Rivendell View, are proud to be sponsoring the Burton Joyce Under 16s Blue football team.
The team, who practice at Poplars Sports Ground, couldn’t wait to show the residents at Rivendell View their brand-new football kits, displaying the home’s name on the front.
Rob Jovanovic, the Chairman at Burton Joyce Football Club, said, ‘We’re really looking forward to working with Rivendell View, and we can’t wait to welcome the residents to support the team.’
When the residents visited the team during their practice, the team was delighted to see them and show off their kits.
81-year-old Joyce Rowbotham loved seeing the team in action, and said, ‘It was so lovely to go and meet the team. They were very welcoming! I’m so pleased we’re able to support a local team.’
The Home Manager at Rivendell View, Lisa Tungate, said,
‘We’re so excited to be sponsoring the Burton Joyce Under 16’s Blue Team! The boys look fantastic in their new kits, and we’re looking forward to cheering them on from the side lines. We’re sure they’ll all grow into amazing footballers.’
