Brinnington Hall care home in Stockport, operated by Ideal Carehomes, has been rated ‘Good’ for a third time by healthcare standards inspectors, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Opened in 2011, Brinnington Hall is rated ‘GOOD’ overall, with an ‘OUTSTANDING’ rating in the ‘Responsive’ category of inspection.
During the visit, CQC inspectors observed the residents’ experiences in the home. They spoke to several residents, their families, and staff members, seeking feedback on the lifestyle the care home offers.
In the resulting report from the CQC, residents living at Brinnington Hall were found to be happy and comfortable, benefitting from high-quality, person-centred care. One resident told the inspectors,
‘It is always such a pleasant atmosphere around the home because the staff make it that way. I would recommend the home to anyone.’
Residents’ relatives agreed, adding that they felt confident in sharing their views with staff members and management, due the open-door policy in place. One relative said,
‘I am sure I could speak with the registered manager if I had any problems. I am glad to say I have no issues with the care my family member is receiving.’
Team members all spoke highly of the positive work environment, demonstrating how committed they were to delivering the best care. One team member said, ‘I love it here. There are a good bunch of staff.’
